There are numerous little options and accessories which will enable you to use your walking pole as a camera or video camera monopod, to help ‘capture’ the view you see before you.
Why use a Monopod?
Usually the best images are taken during the worst weather and generally this is when it is hardest to keep the camera steady. High winds, rain, steep slopes, moving action and so on. Or you might want to record an image showing you against the elements, but you might be on your own.
How do you do it, and what is the best accessory for your walking system?
Hopefully this video might indicate some of the options open to you.
