As this interview shows hopefully the pastime of Dowsing is many things. Mysterious knowledge and skills, but something that can’t be dismissed as there are many people making money from it, even if you can’t quite put your finger on what it is, or isn’t!
Ced Jackson from Malvern Dowsing Group http://www.malverndowsers.org/ takes me out for an afternoon to demonstrate some of the skills and how to ‘interact’ with nature in this rather unique way.

The tools for the job discussed in the podcast and how they compare.
The British Society of Dowsers are the central hub for all knowledge and information relating to this subject and they hold a wealth of resources, as well as organising social events at various times of year.
Of course I also mention how the building work is coming on for our BIG Lightweight show and this is where we are with 7 weeks to go! It’s like being part of one of those Restoration Project programs 🙂
As with all other Podcasts Bob, very interesting and inspiring. I can’t wait to have a go, perhaps not too near to home – as the neighbours think we’re mad anyway, 😉
hello and thank you for a very interesting interview with Ced Jackson. a marvelous coincidence that im a customer of BPL and a long time member of BSD, now all in the same yard!
working in construction i use dowsing almost on a daily basis and can vouch for its effectiveness on finding all types of utilities.but my favorite is Archaeological dowsing.
